want a ladder diagram

Minhaj Ahmed Sumo Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Sir I want to control voltage in an 12V electromagnet. A displacement sensor delivers corresponding voltage for different displacement. PLC input takes this and sends the output signal according this input. If sensor sends high voltage then PLC input voltage will be increased but output voltage should be decreased and Vice-versa is happining if sensor sends low voltage. I need a ladder diagram for this type of control. I also need PID or PD controlling for megnetic levitation a Iron bar. Please sir help me..............Please . Marcjan Platinum Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 5697 Rating: (715)	Hello, First of all you need a device that can convert the analog output of the Logo to a regulated powersource for your Magnet, you can't connect the magnet to a Logo directly. Do you already have such amplifier? You may find it at ahydrolics component shop. Then you can look for a program. Regards, Marcjan

Dear Sir, reading only from your description, I think you would be better off doing this task with another PLC. I think you are going to quickly run into the limitations of the LOGO. Also the LOGO programs better in function blocks than ladder. personally I would go for an S7-1200 CPU1212 that also have onboard analog inputs. Please consider my suggestion. w

This very much looks like a school project that a student needs to complete for examination before year end. Or was the question put to someone as a business opportunity? Which US Dollar price do you think is fair? (money paid in the bank before work begins)

Marcjan Platinum Member Joined: 4/22/2010 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 5697 Rating: (715)	Hello, 2 things i need to say: 1 Since you are just starting with Logo, i advice to use FBD, there are some traps with ladderprogramming that can cause you trouble. 2 why don't you start with the Logo examples, see how they work and use parts of it in your own program.
