What is processs image ?

I can not understand about process image area.

Can anybody tell me about process image?

Only relevant for CPU with a variable size of the process image.

The range of the process image always starts with input or output byte 0.

In the case of S7-300-CPUs that support this function, there are some special considerations concerning the access to the process image area. For more information on these special issues, please refer to the documentation for the CPU.
