When to call "Send All/Receive All" for ISO transport data exchange with CP1430TF

CanuckPLCGuy Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Good Day All I am wondering when I am required to use the "Send All / Receive All" function blocks for an ISO transport connection between an S7 and an S5. I am using an S5-115 and CP1430TF, thus I use the FB244/FB245 for the "Send/Receive All"with the appropriate SSNR number and ANR=0. There are presently connections using this interface and the "Send/Reiceive All" is being called (much) later in the scan. I am receiving the information on the S7 side, however not on the S5 side. Should I call the "Send/Receive All" after every series of Send/Receive for the interface or is once per scan adaquate??

It has exampels for send and recive Jobs with multiple CP Cards. It has also the CP Card config Files includes ( *.143) It is for a CPU948 in a 155 Rack, but as guideline it should work for your CPU in a 115 Rack. Attachment SCPU2.zip (103 Downloads)

Hi You need to call send/receive all once for every ' connection' of SSNR Basically you use a send job to tell the comms card to send it to the other partner.The send all is used to send the info from the PLC to the comms card. ie you can send 10 different DB's in 10 send job calls but you only need one send all job Eric
