Where can I see which input has occured the OB40

pici_c Posts: 80 Rating: (2)	Hi Phantom75! I have CPU313C and I have found the settings for the interrups of the inputs. The interrupt OB will be OB40? and in OB 40, where can I see which input has occured the OB40 (I would need a "bit - input address" table ) thx: pici_c

Yes interrupt OB will be OB40 with priority 16 (highest). pici_c and in OB 40, where can I see which input has occured the OB40 (I would need a "bit - input address" table ) If you trigger the OB40 processing with multiple interrupt inputs, you can determine which input triggered the interrupt by simply scanning the inputs. For example: A I 10.0 logic A A I 10.1 logic B The inputs (process images I 10.0 & I 10.1)will be updated before the interrupt is triggered. Regards Attachment Dokument1.pdf (705 Downloads)

If I understand the meaning of this correctly, I can use it for this projekt: the input delay is 3ms for each input. the plc cycle time is more than 20 ms. with hardware interrupt, i can count the state "1" of the inputs, if there is more than one. correct? (I think the "input delay" in hardvare configure is for: The PLC cyclicly checks the state the state of the input at the start of the input delay, and holds it for the delay time, no matter if it changes under that time. Is that correct?) pici_c

Is that correct?) Yes, the input will get updated after 3 ms. The input delay is because of the time needed to update the periphery (HW). The process image of the inputsis updated cyclically at the beginning of every OB1 (or other PIP set time OB where applicable). But when an interrupt occurs, the OB1 is interrupted and the OB40 is immediately processed. This means the system program is monitoring the periphery interrupt inputs for a change and the moment a change is detected, it jumps to OB40 and also updates the process image of these interrupt inputs. So you should see a maximum delay of 3 ms for reading the interrupt inputs regardless of how long the OB1 cycle time is. Does that make sense? Correction: The process image gets updated in the standard OB1 cycle since there is no option to change the update cycle in CPU 312. Accordingly, you are having the problem reported in your thread OB40 with CPU312C. The solution suggested in that thread is the right way. That is, read the periphery directly.

Thanks Perhaps you need to have a look to the online manual of OB40,You can develop a small set of logic to determine the point of error.The important points to check : OB40_IO_FLAG - input and output determination OB40_MDL_ADDR - Module base address of module that triggers the interrupt OB40_POINT_ADD - as DWORD shows the pattern in which you can find the point address that caused the interrupt.By transferring this temp variable in a global memories and checking, you will have the byte address and point address.
