did you try the FB125/ FB126 PROFIBUS/ PROFINET diagnostic blocks yet?

You might also want to look into the SSL (german SZL) the CPU provides. Interesting should be the SSL about the configured, the parameterized and the operational nodes.

If you want to use the OS provided information of the OB86 and/or OB122 the SFC6 "RD_SINFO" might give you some useful information in your FC/FB.
With the OB122 you would need to convert the logical address into a geographical (SFC49 "LGC_GADR").
