Now my answer: you are good to post detail and attached a picture. the problem now when I check your picture. I don't know what kind of HMI   you have? Please take picture of HMI from the back (may open the cover) 

For 840D Siemens have MMC103 (old) or PCU50 (new) --those have HDD , the archives save on HDD , you can access from "Service" menu 

840D can use lower cost HMI such as MMC100.2 (old) or PCU 20 (new)--those HMi has no HDD, if machine builder made archives, they will deliver to you in USB or other medium (such as transfer from email). you need external  PC , connect RS232 cable to transfer to 840D

If machine in warranty try to ask OEM. as it seems to me your op panel is also 3rd party's

After a battery failure on the synumerik 840D we have both alarms

2001 PLC has not started up

120202 Wait for connection to NC/PLC.

I noticed that some machine data had been lost so I tried to look for any files (*.arc) in the hard disk to introduce them into the NC as usual machines. with 840D CNCs but i could not find these files.

I found only one file with extension (*.arc) but it was a bending program which starts with MPF.

Where are these archive files and how can we introduce them, this is number ONE

Number two; when the machine is start up ther is only the (lang machine banding softwer) in the hmi ther is not the synumerik 840D softwar, my question is if i find the archive how i should do to introduce it.

I suggest you to contact OEM or your nearest Siemens service support center, since it is special hardware & software dedicated to SPM. (special purpose machines)

If you don't have archive no one  Only OEM can help you. Siemens will not support this kind of issue--also 840D is discontinued 

Another option try your luck-- you can search from Google or OEM forum which user using the same type of machine  as you have. asking help from them.

After you post more pictures I can try to give you more information , try you luck and feedback to get more help. If you think this machine still worth to recovery , read my followings:

#1--I post one of your pictures , what time you get this picture, it seems MMC103 SW still working?

Did you do the NCU clean and re-load NC/PLC Archive before this time machine broken-down?

If yes how could you do it ? 

#2--From your picture , I found you use "Lang Mmi Multicontrol 2020 Windows Touch Screen 773So" or similar , confirm it is! It seems to me--you OEM used Siemens "HMI Advanced for PC" =MMC103 SW installed in Siemens Standard MMC103. I also use same SW in my Win XP PC for customer service. Now make sure what is problem , I see a picture you want start that SW from Windows . Is it HMI SW not working or something else.

#3---Even Siemens HMI SW not working , If your Win 98 working , you still can search from your HDD to find if there is NC/PLC Archive. Just use Windows "Search" function  key word *.arc

thank you for your response in fact the machine is from the year 2005. the hmi is with windous 98.

as I said the problem is that the sinumerik 840D software does not appear on the screen when the machine is started, only the bending software has appeared, and even if I open the 840D software manually it seems to me that it does not have the usual functions found on the 840D software such as the service menu and the introduction of passwords

the archive introduction menu is there, but if I press on archive introduction nothing happens.

Please answer my questions and response quick for my instruction:

#1--Did you do the NCU clean and re-load NC/PLC Archive before this time machine broken-down?

#2--Please post the picture of your 840D NCU front with power on, i need to see clean display of the LED's 

#3--you said you find NC.arc and PLC.arc,--where did you find them? if it possible to transfer/copy to outside of your HMI 

#4--Did you try to contact machine OEM, or search that OEM /similar machine forum to get help from them

#5--It is an option---From your picture/HMI display I see non English menus and words , you like to share the country information? --I may know some local service agency to help you.

For here we mostly discuss technical issues, but remote help some time is limited. For get further help  information you can PM me.       

But before we start , I wonder OEM sent you archive files, why you don't ask them how to transfer to the machine ?

#1--I guess the archive files is sent by email, you copy it to USB storage ? make sure

#2---Do you have 3rd party OP instruction manual, where should be how to transfer data from outside to the HMI or NCU?

#3--find  out  you 3rd party HMI , are there any  USB port? or RS232 port (COM Port)?

#1 No we didn't do that before it's the first time, machine breken-down.

#2 see pictures of the NCU lED , we have already reset PLC and NC with S4 and S3 procedure.

#3 the machine OEM sent us the NC and PLC archive but we stil c'ant introduce it if we try this no thing hapend and ther is the message

(please acknowledge confirmation request in the log window ) in franch photos N02?

#4 we are in contact with the machine OEM to get haw to introduce data.

#5 we are from algeria this is way the machine menu is  in french
