Which driver block do I need for my SIMODRIVE POSMO A

wouterdejong Posts: 43 Rating: (0)	Hello all, We got a SIMODRIVE POSMO A 75W with ordernumber 6SN2132-1BF11-1BA0. In the old PCS7 7.0 project we had a POS_CONTROL_POSMO_A block to connect with the SIMODRIVE. Now in PCS7 v8.1 SP1 we added the Drive ES PCS7 v8.1, but we cant find the driver-block which have to connect withe the SIMODRIVE POSMO A. Can anyone tell me what driverblock we need to contorl the SIMODRIVE POSMO A? Thanks in advance, Wouter de Jong

Please see the links below for the devices that are supported by Drive ES for PCS 7 -Standard Library (classic) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109474976 -APL Style https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109476322 However, you should still be able to configure the drives in PCS 7 via the FBdrive block and MotSpdCL, here is an application note that should give you similar setup https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/64181993 Cheers and goodluck!
