vahid4pc Member Joined: 10/9/2021 Last visit: 11/3/2024 Posts: 40 Rating: (7)	Hi, The main reason this is seen in Siemens S7-200 PLCs is due to optimized hardware and software resource utilization for greater system flexibility. This is a feature seen in other Siemens PLC models as well and isn't exclusive to the 200 series. I hope this is helpful.

Requirements of an average user vs price. Due to this both channels share common electronics. Kuldipak cannot we have different settings for both channel number 0 and channel number like channel 0 as analog current input and channel 1 as a analog voltage input. With the device in question you cannot.

vahid4pc Member Joined: 10/9/2021 Last visit: 11/3/2024 Posts: 40 Rating: (7)	This feature is not available in all Siemens card models, and I have only seen it in some cards of the 1500 series. However, you can define your card as voltage and convert the second input current signal to voltage using a 500 ohm resistor. I hope this is helpful for you.
