Why does my PLC go into stopped mode

Please also see the attached screenshots and the diagnose buffer log.

I need to see how a safety type circuit is reacting to changing safety I/O status.

So - I start PLCSIM and download the HW config to the simulator. And that I download first the Safety logic and lastly the rest of the logic.

Not I can go online on a safety block and see how the safety digital inputs changes when I set them and release them again.

However the controller goes into SF and stops executing the blocks after 9-10 minutes. If I toggle the (simulated) PLC to stop and back to run it will run for another 9 -10 minutes.

I tried to ready the diagnose buffer but I cannot decode the messages.

So - why is the (simulated) PLC stopping and how can I avoid this?

Dear xmnj,

did you save the diagnose buffer after the PLC-stop?
In the attached buffer I don't see a stop-related entry.

Thank you for answering.

Yes - the diagnose buffer was saved after several starts and automatic (because of the fault) stops.

After  disabling the execution of FB1351 I avoid getting the stops and can play with the simulation.

Hi

Sometimes it's just because of the windows or PLCSIM, maybe there is no problem in your logic but PLCSIM stops and maybe that is why there isn't any stop log in diagnostic buffer.

Can you try your program on real PLC?
