Why INDIRECT TAGS doesnt work on the changing background color property??

Hi,
Im using Indirect tagging onthe push button on the "Mouse - event" and it works fine. but when I linked the same indirect tag on the buttons "Colors - property" it does Not work . What is the reason why it doesnt work? and what solution can I use to use indirect tag on background color... Please help. Thank you.

Im actually jst testing one tag. But what I've noticed is that. when I used indirect tagging on a pushbutton using just the "Mouse event" it works just fine. but on the same button i linked the same indirect tag (text tag 8-bit) to change two colors (green=ON, Red=Off). So when i press the button it will turn on the bit (the mouse event works) but the color doesnt change to green... Is there any way I can change the color using the indirect tag (text type tag)?
