will CPU315-2PN/DP support 12 Card DI with IM-153-2 module?

Chandra Tiwari Posts: 247 Rating: (2)	Hello Experts, I am using S7-300 PLC S&-315-2PN/DP (6ES7315-2EH14-0AB0) with IM-153-2 (6ES7153-2BA02-0XB0) with 12 DI-32 channel card. My questions is that, will this CPU supports 12 Card DI with IM-153-2 module, in the CPU datasheet it is mentioned that it will support only 4 rack and 8 slot modules. i am not sure 8 slots in the CPU rack itself or in any IM rack slot. please clarify.

Hello, it is possibel to connect 12 Modules with above ET200M. you can connect any type of signal modules with IM153-2 upto a limit of 12. You can check it by your self. Just Create a New Project & go to hardware Configuration. you will be able to see number of slots available with Particular IM. I hope you have a software available with you.
