Hi there! (a) import graphics to the libraries? (b) use other WinCC packages such as WinCC Flex? (c) use older versions of WinCC on the TIA software? Thanks in advance!

Hello silvio_dante, (a) Yeah you can import graphics to your library (let it be either project / global library). (b) I'm not sure ifI have got your question properly. Why do you need to use other packages such as WinCC Flex? (migration of exisiting projects from WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 intoWinCC Basicis very well possible) (c) WinCC v10.5 is supported on TIA Portal v10.5 likewise WinCC v11 is supported in TIA Portal v11 and i presume it will be similar in future too... but unfortunately the older versions are not supported in TIA Portal |

Hi there, thanks for your reply The thing is I'm doing a project in college and my supervisor wants me to make do with what I have (Step 7 V10.5 SP2). This means that they (my department) don't want to spend money on packages that may only be used once (I am the guinea pig for using the S7-1200, the S7-300 model is what everyone else is being trained on). I will try to import graphics, hopefully this will work for what I need. My process is not complex but I wanted to animate a motor and also maybe have some analog displays.

Hello silvio_dante, This may be helpful for your analog display - Gauge Controls for Basic Panels As far as S7-1200 and S7-300 is concerned, there are more similarities and you don't need to worry for being the guinea pig |
