WinCC Flex 2008 is not opening existing projects, neither creating new ones.

nbk Posts: 197 Rating: (3)	Dear All, This morning I wassurprised tofindWinCC Flex 2008 SP2 is no more opening projectswhich were already saved on my PC. Additionally, it is not even helping me create new projects !! The window"project wizard" shows a little progress bar and then freezes indefinitely (plz see attachment). I mean how come it happens in just a couple of days (2 days before was the last time when I used wincc and it was fine)..... What went wrong in past 48hrs? ........ Just curious ! I'm using Win XP SP3. Regards

You can try alone to investigate there - do you install a new software, do you format/delete/move/rewrite/remove a files/software/application, what was the state of antivirus program... I tried the "Reset WinCC Flex Start Center" before completely uninstalling WinCC Flex 2008 (just a last moment try before going for the "big" job) Seems its ok.Now I canopen old projects as well as create new ones. Let's see how it goes ahead. Any thoughts? Regards

For that purpose is made "Reset Simatic WinCC Flex" button. Automatically to return back its status immediately after installation. For your reference - How can you reset WinCC flexible to the original status of the last installation? Anyway, glad to see now there is not a problem. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
