WInCC (MPI) dumps data on Ethernet port

Gaurav Kharadi Posts: 14 Rating: (1)	Dear All, We have created MPI connection between PLC and WinCC. We are getting all the necessary data on WinCC from PLC correctly. We want to dump all these data from WinCC to Ethernet port of the same PC. Is it possible?How? If, Yes. Then can I utilize those data on anotherWinCC (Ethernet) connected in LAN? Server PC is communicating with PLC using MPI and the Client PC is communicating with Server PC using ethernet. Then you need at Server PC the option WinCC server and Client PC needs WinCC RT 128 tags. Or you can use Web navigator. Best regards, Wizard

billwest Posts: 510 Rating: (117)	You could also access the data over Ethernet using the WinCC OPC server. A client application could browse the tags on OPCServer.WINCC. This only makes sense if the client application is not WinCC since Client Server and WebNavigator are available for WinCC. Bill

(2)TCP/IP connection (Dummy) - Only internal tags I want to send data(External Tags)over this TCP/IP connection to dispaly them on Remote Wincc. with regards Gaurav Kharadi

(2)TCP/IP connection (Dummy) - Only internal tags I want to send data(External Tags)over this TCP/IP connection to dispaly them on Remote Wincc. with regards Gaurav Kharadi Dear Gaurav, If your remote WinCC is client you can stiil fetch External Tag via TCP/IP Connection no matter on what channel are you getting from PLC, All the tags available on WinCC Station can be available to remote WinCC Client. If your remote WinCC is the Independent WinCC Station you can use OPC Server/Client connection, again on this case, all the tags available on WinCC can be available to remote WinCC Regards, rit 03.
