Hello aaronpeeet, You can use WinCC RT Professional wizard to start with as it will help you in knowing things better for the first time. Add a new device -> Select PC Systems -> add a WinCC RT Professional. Right click on the WinCC RT and start wizard then continue. Make use of this if required as a Comfort Panel has more things similar to WinCC RT Professional - Getting Started STEP 7 Professional / WinCC Advanced V11 for sample project Filling Station |

Check this thread - Cannot link the configuration database to the Runtime project. In addition try this out to correct this behavior, please try the following instruction: 1.) Make a complete back up of the effected V11-Project. 2.) Deactivate all running projects and close the TIA-Portal. 3.) Open the SQL Server Managment Studio and Stop the SQL Server (right click on the WinCC-Instance => Stop) 3.) Now detach (rightclick => Tasks => detach) all WinCC-Databases (starting with CC...) 4.) Restart the SQL Service and close the SQL Server Managment Studio 5.) Now open the TIA-Portal and perform a "compile all" of the effected project. Have you created a connection between the S7-1200 CPU and WinCC RT Professional? Is your CPU firmware v2.2 or above? |
