WinCC redundancy

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	I never have "ccredcodi.exe" listed when I activate redundancy. Is redundancy working or not? Why do you think you need "ccredcodi.exe"? Which WinCC version you are using? with Regards, Ikkezelf

ShahinM Silver Member Joined: 11/8/2005 Last visit: 12/9/2023 Posts: 335 Rating: (3)	The version of WinCCis 6.0 SP4.The redundancy doesn't work,so I found in one of siemens document that this fileis added to application part of WinCC after activation of WinCC redundancy.

Ikkezelf Posts: 1084 Rating: (72)	Hi, You can use the wincc information files that are instaled together with your wincc installation. But whenever I need to activate redundancy I follow the foloowing steps: 1. finfish the project I'm working on. 2. open redundancy in wincc explorer 3. enable redudancy checkbox 4. set this project as master. 5. select the partner station/pc. 6. enable the checkboxes that you need 7. close the redundancy editor. 8. close wincc project. 9. Open wincc project duplicator 10. create redundant project with project duplicator. done. with regards, Ikkezelf

Giannis_82 Posts: 19 Rating: (0)	Hi, Fora faultless functioning of the redundancy, do I also have to configure the following editors ? : 1. Lifebeat Monitoring Editor 2. The Time Synchronization Editor 3. Server Data Editor I am asking this because I am a little confused. In the WinCC Manual, there are many references about these editors, but I have not understand if the configuration of these editors is required. Thanks in advance for your time
