Hi, perhaps using WinCC OPC HDA would be an option for you? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21320307 in the WinCC online help you can find some additional information as well. triggering an alarm with time stamp by changing a bit-value is of course no problem [:D] nemo |

An alternative method is to have a Global Action that triggers your alarm when your condition is true. |
