WinCC RT Advanced is not communicating with the PLCs simulated by PLCSim V17.0

@D Christof, My application was made in 2015 using TIA V13.0, not V13 + SP2. Now, I am trying to upgrade it to V17.0. So I opened the archive in V17.0 and the app upgraded to V17.0. Now The WinCC RT Advanced is not communicating with the PLCs simulated by PLCSim V17.0 So, Is this because the V13.0 app was not first saved in V13.2 format before upgrading? regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello Raj Iyer Have a look at this FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109742764 So your HMI image you use has to be >V13.0.1 or newer (perhaps your image is still V13 or smaller). So do a rightclick on the RT Advanced-> Change device/version ->Select the Adv RT in the newest Version you can choose.
