Hi... i have faced the same problem in My project.. But i solved this issue after doing again and again in the Device Configuration window.. here the Solution for that problem.. 1. if you created the Simatic PC station,Wincc RT advanced and the Comm Processor, go to the properties of the Communication Processor i.e The IE General(particularly) 2. in that properties you can see that 3 options a) general b) PROFINET interface c) CP assignment 3. click that CP assignment option and you can see that there are 2 sub options. a) Windows only b) SIMATIC PC STATION 4.click that SIMATIC PC STATION if you are going to use that PC as operating station then the connection will be automatically created.there is no need to create it manually in the Connections Window.. 5.after then you can compile the Config and see in the connections window.. here are some screen shots that will help u solve the problem...
