Hello all, I am getting an error message when opening WinnCC Runtime Advanced. It says "No configuration file was specified on the command line or in the "HmiRTm.ini" file.". How can I solve this? |

Hello, Perhaps this link might help: How do you configure the WinCC Autostart for WinCC flexible Runtime? Best regards, Wizard |

Thanks Wizard, but it is not autostart I wish to achieve. I can't open the program itself because of this error message. EDIT: To configure the HMI, I mean. |

This wizard is for the WinCC RT Advanced Autostart. You have to define which source should be use for RT. You can define it. Press button "Ja" to define the path and file. Alternativ you can use this FAQ: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/58565180 |

Hi all, check the link in post of rh1990. In section 2 item 3 Start Center Settings are described. Configuration path must lead to the directory where the Runtime file is stored. Regards, Frink |

Hello the WinCC Runtime Advanced application (HmiRtm.exe) cannot start without a parameter. If you start this then the messages appears... you could start manually the exe with the path and filename of the fwx file. then it will start properly. -> If you start the StartCenter (Runtime loader in older versions) then if you click the start Button there will occur the same. If you do not have loaded a project with startcenter(runtime loader) then there is missing the fwx file and the system brings up the message. If you have loaded a runtime file with online loading then the files were stored automaically in the folder that is specified in the settings of the StartCenter (and named as PDATA.XXX). I hope now all is clear to this topic and how it works Bye Murof |
