WinCC Unified - Open Classis Comfort Panels?

Hello,

I own license for WinCC V18 - Version Unified and TIA portal V18 Professional Version.

I need to open one project - which was written with TIA V14 - WinCC Comfort.

But I am not able to open this HMI project - it shows me the message that License "WinCC Comfort" was not found - but also I get the information that I can activate trial version of "WinCC Advanced" which is for me quite strange - why I need to activate Advanced version for Comfort Panel?

If I try to create new project in WinCC version 17 - it allows me to create project based on comfort panels with Unified Comfort license, but in version 14 not.

Somebody any advice?

Hello snounyTO,

The WinCC Unified Comfort ES license only covers you up to TIA Portal V16, which is when WinCC Unified was born.

In previous versions, this license does not cover the programming of other panels. You need a WinCC Comfort or WinCC Advanced license.
