I want to ask about the possibility of connecting WinCC flexible with General electric PLC CPU and Part No. as the following (IC693CPU351).

Please provide us more information : 

What do we need to solve your problem?

1) Which kind of panel you're using ? 

2) Do you have another PLC that you're using or is this fanuc the only 'plc' you're using ?

       If you have a siemens plc , you could look for the opportunity to add this Fanuc plc in the hardware configuration of your siemens PLC, by doing this you can communicate with wincc flexible through your siemens PLC...

3) Please give us more details how you want this panel to operate...

Dear Omega,

1-  I want to setup the WinCC Runtime on PC and use this PC as Panel for this SCADA System.
2- No, I only have this PLC as mention before (GE Fanuc (IC693CPU351).
3- I already Bulid Scada System For my application and I want to use it to monitor this system and get historical data from it.
4-The connection that I use is from RS232 to RS422 SNP Port of this PLC As shown in the attached Picture (red highlighted).
5- I am using Wincc Fexible 2008 Sp3 and it's runtime.

simply as sugested pdf document shows, both devices PLC GE and WinCC must have same communication parameters configured. So without see what is inside GE PLC defined as bus address, you dont have chance. You must look to that GE PLC probably.

I am sorry, but I feel you are not providing all the correct information that would allow us to analyse the problem. Please show us at least a slketch of the communication link you want to setup, with as much detail as possible, including port designations and type, type of comm cables and addressing.

The type of message you recieve would be normal if your communictaion partners were linked by RS-485 or RS-422, where up to 32 statiomns can exchange data on a segment, and each one must be identified by a unique station address.That station, node or bus address (same thing, from different configuration nomenclatures) must be part of the communication settings of the partner. So you mus look for it in the GE 90/30 parameters.

Next, you say you want to connect RS-232 on a RS-422 port; do you have a converter that allows for this?
