Hello AutoGen, there is no individual native type representing an array. I have attached some screenshots of the most simple way of creating an array of a simple DataType (e.g. Boolean). You can use ValueRank and ArrayDimensions in the section "Additional OPC UA Attributes". After doing a Drag&Drop from the Information model to a DB in the TIA Add-In, you will find the related array in your DB in the TIA project. Keep in mind that this way only results in one accessible Node in the server. So a Client can only address the array as a whole via the NodeId of the array. If you need the elements of the array to be accessed individually, you would have to add Hierarchical References (HasComponent). Or you could create a structured DataType used for a complex VariableType. There are several options. If you are not too familiar with modelling and have the related array already in TIA Portal project, you can also do a Drag&Drop in the other direction - from the TIA section to the Information Model. Then you even have the option to create the array elements as nodes or not (see screenshot Array_5). And everything is generated for you. Regards, Julian AttachmentScreenshots.zip (489 Downloads) |
