Y-Link with CPU 315-2DP

can i use Y-Link with CPU 315-2DP in software Redundancy.

I'm using 2 "CPU 315-2DP" in software redundancy. I want to receive the parameters of 6RA70 DC Drive,

since it can communicate on Profibus dp . so, i'm using Y-Link for the operation.

if "not" please suggest.

The question has been asked often in the forum (search for "Y-Link and SWR" for example, using the Search Box at the right of this page) and the answer always is: Siemens does not support the Y-Link for SWR.

So you cannot link the single-sided Profibus slaves (such as your drive) to the redundant section of the SWR program.

But you can use the non-redundant part of the program to communicate with the slave (the comms will not be redundant.
