Wil Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Hello, In WinCC flexible I want to obtain the functionality of an extra confirmation on a button. When pressed I want a popup to appear asking "Are you sure", Yes / No. In a script I use the command: vbMsgBoxResult = MsgBox ("Are you sure", vbYesNo, "Confirm") Afterwards I check the Tag 'vbMsgBoxResult to take action or not to take action. But it gives the error: 'VBScript function is not available on current device'.[:(] I am using a pc as visualisation and have the following questions: - How can I use the function 'MsgBox' in my application ? - What other functionsare present to get the same functionality ? (PC and Panels) [:cry:] You can do following: When the user press the button (which should made the message), then youactivate a new screen. In this Screen you make a Text file ...Yes /No... and for a sampel two button with "Yes" and "No".If the user pushthe button "Yes", the value will be accept. When he left this buttonthen activate the previous screen. If the user puch the button "No" then activate the previous screen directly.

Wil Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Indeed this is a solution. It is a pitty that the new screen that appears is a complete new screen. I would have preferred a smaller screen, a popup over the actual screen. How do I know that some functions are not available ? I did not see it in the helptext of the function. But thanks for helping solving my problem. Wil

Wil Posts: 23 Rating: (1)	Indeed, this brought me to the idea that I should have looked at the Windows Scripting Host. At the page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/script56/html/f482c739-3cf9-4139-a6af-3bde299b8009.aspI found the 'Popup method'. I have put in an event calling the script as stated and then I have an integer giving me a result value on which action can be taken. Thinking further: It would be nice to not only have the available button types (0-5) but to configure these buttons. So not the text 'Yes' - 'No', but (for a manual command to a valve) 'Open' - 'Close'. Thank you for the merry christmas and wishing you a nice 2006. Wil
