TP177A communication issue

Kevbloke Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hi all, I have been asked to take some back ups of 3 x HMI's using prosave. 1 x TP177B, 1 X TP177 micro and 1 x TP177A. I had no issues connecting to the first two and taking a back up but when it came to the TP177A it wouldnt connect no matter whatI tried. For the microI used a PPI cable. For the T177BI used MPI cable but with the TP177A iv'e tried both those cables and a direct profibus cable but no joy. Put the HMI into transfer and it looks for a while then says no comms, check cables ports etc. The HMI is a 6AV6 642-0AA11-0AX1. Any ideas please. Regards Kev

Please check the transfer settings in the panel, see Manual Chapter: 6.1.2.7 Changing MPI/DP Settings and 6.1.2.9 Configuring the Data Channel. Regards, Marcjan
