How to start program for bios update?

 Hello,

I have read instructions. After transfer bios to USB, restarted Simatic Field PG, pressing ESC, but it did not open program for bios update.

When I press F2 I enter into bios, but there no options for bios update.

Please, how to start program for bios update, or do you have program for DOS for bios upgrade.

Hello zivmil,

You must press ESC directly after you power on your Field-PG. The option to enter BIOS-menu is visible only for a very short time. You have to be fast!!! ;-)

If you missed it, and your Field-PG starts the operating system, shut the system down and try it again!

Btw, once you have managed to enter the BIOS Menu, you can adjust the time the Field-PG is waiting for you to press ESC in future. To do so, enter "SCU" and go to the Menu "Boot -> Boot Delay Time" and enter a value, greater than the actual value. Press F10 to save the changed setting.
