thank you very much!!! It was one of the last windows updates! In my case it was KB5037587. Just uninstalling it solves the problem.

Hello,

Uninstall W10 or W11 last updates from 05-2024 and prevent them from installing again.

Siemens is looking for a fix. (we hope)

Hey Guys,

as of today, there is a patch for TIA from SIEMENS. You can get it with a ticket (SR) to Technical Support. This is what it says in the "Solution" section of the FAQ with the ID: 109971630

Hi everybody,

After installing V18 Upd4 the "crash compiling project with OPC UA server" problem is solved for me in V18.

But now, every time I close (click on X) TIA Portal V14, V15, V15.1, V16, they all crash (not V17 nor V18). It happens even if I've never opened projects. I have not installed (or requested) patches related to this theme for other versions of TIA (V16, V17, V19).

The crash doesn't affect my work, because it only happens when TIA closes, but it's still annoying.

Is anyone having the same problem?

 I got the same "problem" after installing V19 Upd2.
