Replace 6ES7 151-1AA05-0AB0 to 6ES7 151-1AA06-0AB0

Hello :)

I'm using a IM151-1 (6ES7 151-1AA05-0AB0). We replaced it for an  module 6ES7 151-1AA06-0AB0. Do I have to configure hardware and download again? Or can I just replace it and turn the power on?

Now the new module is not available

Hi,

if you use the older module in real hardware and the new module in hw config.

The HW config must be changed!

If you use the old module in HW conifg, but the new one in real hardware, nothing must be changed

I replaced physically the 6ES7 151-1AA05-0AB0 for an 6ES7 151-1AA06-0AB0

In the HW config the old one (6ES7 151-1AA05-0AB0) is configured 

This is because we are not always able to do a download
