when swap ET200SP, is it necessary to reassign device name？

Dear madam/sir，

recently i am reading a manual( not from SIEMENS), it is says:

In the case of ET200SP components, the detection always takes place via the topology. If, in exceptional cases, this is no longer recognized correctly, the affected ET stations must be reset to factory settings (online in devices & networks).

so, has anyone tried this? Swap 2 ET200SP in one network, and the name changed according to topology view automatically.
