Faceplate I/O Field Appearance Animation

Hi,

I couldn't succeed to animate I/O field background color from green to red when related analog value reach a certain limit. Faceplate works, but color is not changing, what am I doing wrong?

Is there a way to avoid displaying the value in "AI Current Value" field in form of digits after it get equal to value in "AI Limit Value" field, instead of ##### format?

How to make HMI displaying changes in "AI Current Values" faster than it does, it is too slow?

 Hello milos23,

You need to set upper and lower values in the range settings of your tag. Also, to get a red color, you need to set it in the lO field Properties>Limits.

#### indicates lost connection or your value has more digits then you have set in format pattern, if i am not mistaken.

In addition, please take into account, that decimal places separator also counts.

 Thanks I fixed the color problem by choosing necessary PLC tag as critical value for faceplate related HMI tag (HMI's tag Properties - Range - Upper limit 2 for maximum alawable value), but #### is still there, and it is not related with number of digits, I have tried to change that before.

Any idea what causes #### problem?

 It is hard to say without knowing the configuration.

One thing that comes to my mind - any chance you are using indirect access of the tag? If so, might be non existing address is assigned.
