TP Comfort Data Logging to a NAS not working

Hi everyone,

I have a TP 1200 Comfort Panel and I'm trying to log data on a Synology NAS, as I need to remotely access the data, following the Siemens application example Integrating HMI Operator Panels in TCP/IP Networks and access to a NAS or to a shared Windows folder (Entry ID:92346478), but it doesn't work.

When I try to simulate it from TIA Portal on my PC it works, but from the TP doesn't, and there is no system error. Everything is in place, correct user with all right on the NAS, username and password inserted on the TP, but no way.

I heard that this Siemens application is supposed to work on WinCC Runtime installed on Windows 7 or 10, and not on a TP with a Windows CE. In fact when I try to open the file explorer of the Windows CE of the TP and point to the NAS, it doesn't work.

Anyone has any idea?

unfortunately, it never worked for me. I've tried everything on that NAS, SMB etc., but nothing.

It works very fine on Panel PCs and WinCC Runtime. Tried successfully several combinations with WinCC Runtime V17 and V18 on Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Maybe you can try with a different NAS.
