I need an equal instruction of FBC and XPY=(x) raise to the power of Y in Siemens. Please advise if someone has any solution.

Hello Lucky123 Easy one first: You'll find aformula and free download for the Step 7 example logic for Y = Xb HERE. As for an S7 equivalent toA/B's FBC instruction I'm not too sure if I can offer one that has all "bells and whistles". You can howeverfind an almost overwhelming wealth of free pre-programmed SCLBlocks at www.oscat.de. The site is in German (navigate to the download section and look for "Oscat lib 3.11 Step 7"), but the S7 SCL blocks are documented in English. As these Blocks are "open source", soyou can also use them as a starting "block"to create your own. The "TI to S7 conversion"library (subfolder of the Standardlibrary) also has a few Table related Blocks in it which may come in handy (even though you won't find an equivalent toA/B's FBC. Note too that these Blocks are of course Know How protected soyou'll need to use them "as is"). I hope this helps to get you started |

Unzip it manually (it contains a pdf and another zip file) and then use Step 7 to "retrieve" the "OSCAT311_Step7.zip" library(or manually unzip this one too and use "Open" & "Bowse" from Step 7 to locate and open the Oscat S7 block library). |

Hmmm.. I wonder if you downloaded the correct file(name should be "Step7_311.zip"). Anyway, just as well the libraryisn't all that big, so please find it attached (this "OSCAT311_Step7.zip" file isthe "pure" retrievableStep7 library without therevision history pdf).
