Hello suren; The only software problem you will have if you install Step 7 5.3 in any version of Vista is that it will not work. Have a look at the followingcompatibilty matrix for Windows and Step 7: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll I can also suggest you use the Search box at the top right of this page to look at other threads from users using various versions of Step 7 on Vista; use the search term "Vista". Hello suren. SiemensSTEP 7 V5.3 is not with Vista kompartibel. Under Vista functions only the version 5.4! Then, however, for it "Microsoft Vista Business" is required also.
