Dear emantos, If I understand your question, you need 5 bit outputs (Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4) based based on two inputs (I1,I2) for example: when I1=0,I2=1 the output will be Q1=0, Q2=1, Q3=1 , Q5=1 or something else? Well if I dont got your idea, please explain as on above example or else please tell us your machines operation sequence. Rgs |

Dear emantos, Now it is clear! Theoreticaly possible, let say if you use 0BA7 12/24 you will have 24 DI and 16 DO and as per your datasheet you need 12DO to send to your device and 11DI to read from your device then after you need to write a logic program to control the message and to do some functions as you want. Practically also possible but the problem is if you use 12DO what you remain is only 4DO and this 4DO is enough for your remaining application? If it is okay lets proceed on the programming part or else I suggest you to look for S7-200 family. Rgs |
