Dear reader

I want to link my 'Siemens Logo! OBA7' with a 'Danfoss VLT FC 302' powering a motor, except i don't know anything about VLT

It's for a basic Tunnel Ventilation System,

elements include:

-Siemens Logo! OBA7

-Danfoss VLT FC302

-Motor

-Smoke detector

and (4) 24V contactors 

I do have a complete scheme of the Logo program on how the different outputs of the motor would work, i just want some help to combine these two products together specifically the VLT for managing the speed of the motor through (4) 24V contactors ,

i couldn't find anything on the internet that combines these specific two together

if you recommend me to go to the support of the product makers than i would if that's what they are for.

Most VFD's have some stepped freq. inputs, it should be noted in the user manual. Do you have a specific model number? If so, i'll have a look in the manual.

My Omron have some defined inputs for speed control, as well as forward/reverse run commands.

If you look at the attached picture, you'll see when S1 is high, the inverter starts forward at a predefined freq. (25 Hz), when S5 is high, the inverter switches to another freq. I think there is four or five inputs that can be configured as speed inputs.

Thats not the full version of the manual, there's no or little programming info.

On page 50 (52 in the PDF), it looks like input 16, 17 and 18 can be used for speed-reference. My best guess is, that you program them in parameter 3-15, 3-16 and 3-17 (Page 59)

Try to find the complete programming manual, it will tell what can be enabled and where to do it.

Choose the FC302 in the pull down, and tick programming guide in document type, you will find this; "VLT® Automation Drive FC 300 SW 7.62/8.1"

On page 68, the speed input reference is mentioned.
