I am looking for some advice from our more experienced members or indeed anyone who can assist, let me explain a little what i am trying to do. i use a gas burner control system made by honeywell satronic and its only a small unit within itself but if an error occurs on the burner control it gives a flash code in a sort of morse code format(see attached pdf) to indicate what type of fault it is. i know honeywell sell whats known has a satropen to read these codes by way of an IR transmitter//receiver and i indeed have one but i am looking to (if i can) build something that i can leave on the customers control system for a few days so that it logs the faults so i am wondering if there is any such thing has an optical reader that will give me a pulse when the led on the unit is on? or there is another way of possibly doing it by removing the led itself and somehow wiring this to an input on the LOGO but i suspect the flash will be rather quick. anybody come across anything like this or any thoughts on this matter? thanks in advance AttachmentManual Honeywell DMG 970 (en).pdf (254 Downloads) |
