The application sounds like something where one would use a PI temperature controllers for. Siemens has some example on temperature control that would apply.

While i appreciate you do not have a crystal ball i thought my explanation was quite clear! i had not starting writing the program due to the problem i had found regarding the pulse generator so there was no need to state inputs/outputs etc because at this stage it had not been written. Until i had a possible solution there was no point in trying to see how this was inputted.

Thanks for your help but i think i have now have the solution which scorp suggested and with a bit of refining i think i will suit the application.

Therefore i have made an example, which shows the on-time, see PWM1. Unfortunately the PWM block has no parameters to show the times directly, see the complicated part with the stop watch.

To avoid this i have made the second example PWM2 with the impulse generator. Both will have the same result, but not only your stages of the table. You also will get all interim values, e.g. 2%, 37% and so on.

In Logo there are different ways to get a result. If there is enough space, i always would take the understandable way for me, also if i have to remember in 1 year.
