Hello LOGO! Friends, of 25 years of LOGO! The ideas competition was originally supposed to end on November 1st, 2021. Anyone else with an example would like to take part in the idea’s competition? If so, then we will be happy to give you a little more time and extend the competition. Please tell us in the English LOGO! Forum under the conference “25 Years of LOGO! -Ideas Contest” if you still need some time for your planned example. Your LOGO! team |

Apparently the cloud connection (maybe because of AWS and costs only) of the LOGOI 8.3 is not a big hit, otherwise this "ideas contest" would not be extended. And apparently such a contest no longer attracts customers ...

Please extend more time till 30 December. I still develop some project. But need to apply new feature like IP camera which is new to me. Regards, M111 |

With Amazon as the only provider of the cloud, that won't work. |

For me as a private user, this cloud solution is absolutely uninteresting. Both from the relatively difficult implementation and from the costs involved. With the LOGO! 8.2, the extended web server was introduced in order to be able to use it from the LOGO! 8.3 to slain. Instead of giving the extended web server new functions or improving old, not so usable functions, a faulty product is left as it is and instead a new function that cannot be used with the web server alone is introduced. It's just commerce. LOGO! 8.0 = simple web server. LOGO! 8.1 = Modbus function. LOGO! 8.2 = extended web server. LOGO! 8.3 = Cloud (and only with AWS, a rascal who thinks bad about things like that ...). Constantly changing with the background: sales, want to sell new devices ... And: In no case can you compete with the S7-1200 ...

So we can not apply for contest without cloud registration. Does it right.? If want to contest we must pay for AWS fee. |

The AWS Cloud is free for one year. 750 hours per month. |

Are you shure? Then take a look at this topic in german speaking part of the forum. Was sind die jährlichen Kosten von AWS?
