Hello Ahmad; You have posted this question in the S7-200 cnference, without any other information I will reply with information on the S7-200 open-loop control of Stepper motors. The S7-200 can control up to 2 stepper motors through 2 specialized ouputs directly on the CPU, capable of pulse-train outputs .Most of the required information will be found in the S7-200 System Manual especially in Ch. 9, "Basic Information for Open Loop Position Control Using Steppers or Servos". For more complex projects, with more precise positionning and higher speed,requirements, you can also use an EM253 "Position" module; each EM253 can control 4 steppers, and you can add up to 4 EM253 to S7-200 CPU.. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/1109582 https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/21061963 Open-loop control of a stepper motor requires a pulse-train output (PTO) generated by a controller (in this case, the PLC) to a power drive unit linked to a stepper.
