Hello the_anais2 The normal Scaling of analog Signals is : SIMATIC S5: Unipolar : 0-100% = 0-2048 , Bipolar : -100% -0- +100% = -2047 -0- +2048 , 4-20mA : 0mA - 4mA - 20mA = 0 - 512 - 2560 SIMATIC S7 : Unipolar : 0-100% = 0-27648 , Bipolar : -100% -0- +100% = -27647 -0- +27648 , 4-20mA : 0mA - 4mA - 20mA =xxx -0 - 27648 PROFIBUS / PROFINET SLAVES ( e.g. SIEMENS Drives ) : Unipolar : 0-100% = 0-16384 , Bipolar : -100% -0- +100% = -16383 -0- +16384 , The Scaling need to be changed accordingly from S5 to S7. From you description it is not clear if S7 AI Modules were connected to the S5 system also. It seems more likely ( From the 16384 scaling ) that these signals are from Profibus Slaves. E49.14/E49.04 are not normal addresses for S5. However if this is some kind of 16 bit addressing ( that I am not aware of ) then bit 8-15 correspond to the Left ( Higher ) Byte and bit 0-7 correspond to Right ( Lower ) Byte.
