Alternatively, you could configure your logging tags to use logging mode = on demand, with a trigger tag starting & stopping logging.  This will not discard logged data - WinCC discards logged data only if the data log containing the data is deleted.  What the "on demand" logging will let you do is to stop and start logging data based on a trigger tag state.  This can allow you to log data only during the periods where the logged data is applicable.

what i need is to log data only in the period i want, i tryed configuing logging tags with ondemand and a trigger mod in "Risign Edge " and "Falling edge", but he saving the log only when the trigger change status (from true to false or viceversa in falling edge).

I'm doying somthing wrong?, i can't in unified logging data only when a tag is true and continue logging for ex per second until he come's back to false ?
