Currently, apart from Siemens PLCs, you can also find communication with Omron PLC, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley and some PLCs with modbus comunication. I recommend you to look the FAQ "Communication Support Packages (CSP) for WinCC Unified in TIA Portal"

Has anyone done any project, from UNIFIED (HMI) MTP or RT PC, with CLP Rockwell AB, type one from the controllogix family?

Is it possible to make this communication? 

Hi, we did it with 3 Allen Brandley SLC500s pointing directly to the PLC variables in EthrNET IP, without Modbus or anything else.

Hello rdoliveira,

It works well, but the Panel Image version needs to be at least update 2 (the communication wasn't completely functional before that update).  There is one remaining problem with the alarm system vs the AB tags, though. An alarm only shows up in the list if its trigger tag is used by another object in the current page. A fix is planned for update 5 of the Panel Image.
