I've just try to do it right now, and it seems that it is working. What I've did is:

1. Create HMI user data type with the elements of the recipe . In my case, salt, water, flour.

2. Create internal HMI tag of data type the previous HMI user data type I've created.

4. Create a parameter set type using previous data type and hmi tag.

5. Add I/O field to a screen and set as process value the HMI tag that is linked to the parameter set type. 

You cannot link the entire HMI tag, so it should be "Hmi_tag.recipe_element" . In my case "Bread.salt"

Yes I did it with an Unified Comfort Panel.

Regarding the 2nd step, what I meant is once you created the  HMI user data type (think that it works like an UDT) which should contain the elements of your recipe (e.g salt, water, flour) you have to create a tag under "HMI Tag" which datatype  (int, string, etc...) should be the "UDT" created before.
