Good day all,

I am working on an HMI project with TIA Portal v17 and WinCC unified that provides visual feedback from and AB PLC with a few modules and Ethernet module and is then projected online with Simatic Runtime.

I am can pipeline information readily from the PLC however I can only communicate with one module I discovered. Not sure if it is due to the set IP address or if my communication path is set correctly.

I can communicate with the first module on the back plane. I am not sure if any one can provide a resource to better learn what this communication path does or the implementation. The entire AB PLC is set as one IP with makes me believe that if I have the proper communication path I can read other modules from the backplane. 

If anyone could please provide insight or are resources it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
