We are normaly using these software 1 802d plc 2 simocum 3 simatic manager 4 winpcin 5 pcin 6 V4.0 step7 Microwin 7 step 5 please suggest me what is the best laptop for this.I want to tke in Dell or Samsung. Please help me about comport specification too.

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (485)	Hello, Siemens Field PG would be the better choice here to use...rather than laptop....you can get it rectified... Any Laptop with Good RAM-Harddisk and Processor would be better in using. Please look for WIN XP not for WIN7 or WIN8 Comport specification you need to check & look in the different vairants of modles of laptop... Regards, Prakash

Following are the configuration i5 Processor, 500GB HDD, 16 GB RAM Cann't getbetter than this. you can run 3 to 4 Virtual Machine without any Slow response. Good Model from Dell.

Sometimes the keyboard,usb ports would not work. Rather use a siemens PG much more efficient and offcourse it comes with the relevent ports as opposed to buying converters.

Nitzo Rather use a siemens PG much more efficient and offcourse it comes with the relevent ports as opposed to buying converters. That is true. Also, the Software licence costs are much less.
