Situation:

I'm a teacher automation in a school, the school PC's are in such an protected mode that, I as a teacher, can't change or install anything. The solution they had for me is working through an Oracle VM.

Solution:

I've now an windows 7 running under Oracle VM, I installed TIA V12 SP4. This works perfect, I tested it all the way, no problem. In a second stage 1 students tested it an all worked well.

Problem:

After the testing I copied the master VM copy from my PC to all the students PC's. All works well when only 1 VM is running but the problems start when several VM's are running simultaniously. The communication is then very slow, after a "detect scan" not all the devices appear so you have to do it several times, the simulation software SPS-VIS-mico gives communication error when a second VM starts,.....

Reason and solution?

The problem seems that, in fact, through this VM several "indentical PC's" are running at the same time.

I already tested:

- changing the IP adress of each VM machine: same problem

- changing computer name from VM to an individual name no other VM machine has: same problem

Is there anyone familiar with this problem or has an idea what I can test more?
