WIFI USB Sticks (Plug&Play / no additional drivers needed): Edimax EW-7811Un (only V1, V2 is not working!) Edimax EW-7612UAN Official raspberry Pi WIFI dongle ----------------------------------------------------------------------- mPCIe WIFI cards (additional driver needed): Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235 drivers available here. You have to copy the driver file "iwlwifi-6000g2b-6.ucode" to /lib/firmware Please feel free to add other working devices which you have tested! Best regards!

anjalirani Posts: 25 Rating: (1)	Hii Bergmanu, I am working with 2040 and m SD card contains image version 2.1.3. In the iot2000setup there is no option available for wlan0... So i have followed the steps given by peter oakes in the comment session available in the following link.(screen shot is attached) https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/simatic-iot2020--the-educational-intelligent-gateway-for-industrial-iot-solutions I am getting errors once the last command, '/etc/init.d/networking restart' is given I am totally stuck with my work. In that in addition to eth0, eth1 is also available. but wlan0 is missing. Screenshot is attached. What is the mistake i am doing.. anjalirani Posts: 25 Rating: (1)	Hii Bergmanu, I have copied it to /lib/firmware .... I again started with a fresh image of v2.1.3 and i followed all the steps given in wifi-usb pdf . Then I got wlan0 in the network configurations. I even connected 2040 with wifi. However once i installed the serial package in python for reading data from serial port, wifi connection was suddenly lost. Is there any connection between pyserial package and wifi connectivity.
