hello every body. I have S5-95U. LED stop is red and it dose not go to run mode.it has not any error. how can I find why it is in stop mode. |

Have you tried unplugging all the I/O boards yet, pulling them off the bases, unplugging all the sockets, checking the terminals, any oxidation, possibly cleaning them up and reassembling? These are pretty old CPUs and HW, with very little diagnostics. Verify. Then possibly, if it does not return to RUN check the few internal registers of the CPU. Or, and better yet, spend your time in replacing the old PLC with a new one. For another 10 or 15 years you won't think about it again. |

Thanks so much. I unplugged all IO boards,but I have problem yet. when I reset CPU and download simple project it works correctly. but when I download program of machine it dose not go run mode. Where I can monitor diagnostic registers? |

Using the STEP5 in online mode, you can check the status of the CPU interruption registers (6 byte). I only remember the "BATPUF" bit, regarding the battery. Then you can find in the manual, capther 5, the diagnosis. I think that even the software that you are using must show these registers in some ways.
