UDF blocks - unconnected inputs floating high

I have recently started using UDF blocks, which are useful to simplify a program layout.

i have noticed that the behaviour in real instalations is different to simulation.

Unconnected inputs appear to be floating high and giving an output.

i have now connected status 0 to these inputs.

Has anyone else encountered this? i am worried the simualtion behaviour is not consistent.

there is an AND block. there was no connection from the pump but the output still came on?

The problem is the AND block. The connector "I1 (pump on)" on the AND block in the UDF has the same effect as if the legs would not be not connected to the AND block without external wiring.

Then works only the negation of the analog comparator.

Help is provided by interposing an OR block.

thanks for your to demo. my concern is that when i simulate on PC , the output does not go high.

Good suggestion with the OR block, so i will have to use this will all UDF blocks when an input is optional on a system.
